 Darcy Brown is 13 years old. She goes to Havardwood Creek Middle School. Once a week, every week she goes to the library. Her best friend is Margaret Smith. Her teacher's name is Ms. Carington. One day in school Ms. Carington asked if anyone wanted to go to the library. Darcy raised her hand first. Her teacher always made them go with a friend. Darcy chose Margaret. They went down the hall to the library. The library teacher is Ms. Wastin. She was very mean, Darcy didn't like her. Darcy checked out a book, and said can I have this book a little longer because it is a very long book? No!, Ms. Wastin said. After that Darcy walked out of the library with the book and her friend Margaret. Margaret said, don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll finish that book in time. At the end of the day Darcy went home. She has a brother named Nick. Nick always gets on her nerves. She went upstairs to take a bath. She called, MOM! IM READY! really loud so that she could hear here. Her mom's name is Nieha. Nieha heard her and came to turn on the water. She left Darcy in the bathtub and went into the kitchen to make dinner. Darcy thought about how long it would take to read the book she picked out. Darcy was worried. She got out of the bathtub and went downstairs to have dinner. When she got downstairs she saw rice chicken, this looks so good mom! she said. Thank you Nieha said. After dinner it was time to go to bed. The next morning it was time to take the book back. She didn't finish the book though.
